The Righthand Sidebar

Many thanks to those of you who wrote to tell me that the righthand sidebar has disappeared. I don't know what to say. I keep trying to put it back and Typepad keeps refusing. It's like something out of a Frank Peretti novel because you write and tell me that you were praying all those prayers on the sidebar. The good angels keep clicking them back over and the bad angels keep dissolving them into cyberspace.

A more scientific, technical explanation? No doubt. I've taken out a help ticket and we'll see what the Typepad folks say.

What's That Song?

I've gotten more emails than I can count asking about the song playing on my blog right now. The song is actually linked into this slideshow, so once that slideshow slips off the front page, I think the song goes, too. I'm not ignoring the mail; I actually have a BIG post in my head about this song. For now, though, to answer your question, it's The Best Day from Taylor Swift's Fearless album.

Divine Mercy Novena~ Day 4

Divinemnc_5

"Today bring to Me Those Who Do Not Believe In God and Those Who Do Not Yet Know Me. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy."

Most Compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which  is Your Most Compassionate Heart.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart  of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not  know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too,  may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.
