Tricia's Transplant is a Go!

Nate writes that they are prepping her for surgery now. And we all light candles and ask the intercession of the Blessed Mother on her behalf.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.          

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.

And pray for the soul who sacrificed Tricia's new lungs.

Eternal rest grant unto them , O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

And remember a grieving family...

Jesus consoles them in John's gospel: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you , I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also."
