What Can Be Done?

It seems I spoke too soon. My roses, which were lush and abundant and seemingly needed little care just last week, are looking pitiful and near death this week. Please take a look at these not-so-beautiful pictures and if you know what I should do, leave me a comment. There is much hand-wringing here and poor Nicholas, especially, is beside himself with worry. If it's at all helpful, the weather has been very hot and plenty wet.
